Another [IN]tensive Day of INtake 02
Wednesday was successful INtensive day at the INcubes offices! There was an exciting group of speakers who discussed topics from marketing, networking, and angel networks.
April Dunford is a marketing executive specializing in bringing new solutions to market. April is the VP of Marketing for Huawei’s Global Enterprise Competency Center and writes an award-winning blog on product marketing for startups called RocketWatcher.
Gerard Buckley is one of the Entrepreneurs INresidence. Gerard has spend 32 years in financial markets & provides Startups advisory in Financial Management, structuring, governance & more. As Managing Dir Jaguar Capital & a founding Dir Maple Leaf Angels, a Startup Founder could not hope for a more sage & diligent advisor.
Andrew Patricio is the founder and CEO of BizLaunch where he helps companies connect with small business owners by developing seminars, webinars and educational content. Andrew and has trained, coached and inspired thousands of small business owners across the world.

It was another INtense and exciting week at the INcubes offices!
For INtake 02’s fifth INtensive day, Ryan Moore droppedIN all the way from Boston and Karim Kanji gave the companies INsight on how to leverage social media and build awareness.
Ryan Moore is a Partner in the technology group at Atlas Venture. He joined Atlas in 2011 and focuses on emerging web service companies that make the lives of consumers better and help any size business perform better.
Karim Kanji is a social innovator who connects people across various digital platforms. In late 2010 Karim helped create ThirdOcean which collaborates with companies helping them to utilize digital & social tools. He is also the cofounder of XConnect, a ThirdOcean project & boutique media property.

Prerna Chandak is partner/founder at Lemonade Ventures & an analyst at Phillips, Hager & North/RBC Global Asset Management. In 2008, Prerna was honoured as one of Chatelaine Magazine’s 80 Amazing Women to Watch in Canada & is also a past recipient of the National Top 20 Under 20 award.
Jasmin Ganie-Hobbs is a Senior Lender at the Business Development Bank of Canada, working primarily with emerging technology, innovation, & knowledge based companies. She is one of the most successful lenders in BDC’s Entrepreneurship Centre.
